Thinking of Listing Your Home?

NOW is the time to start preparing

There is a reason REALTORS® get excited about the spring market. It’s the busiest time of the year. Just take a look at this Greater Denver Metro graph:

Heatmap showing pre-COVID-19 Denver metro single-family home prices, with highlighted areas of price increases.

As you can, listings starting in March and going through June have the highest pending contract amounts, resulting in the highest closed transactions in the months to follow. Buyers know this, that’s why they start to head out in droves after the Super Bowl because they know there is usually some of the best inventory of the year to choose from.

And for you as a seller, the increased numbers of buyers means you are more likely to get your asking price and for it to sell quicker! Just take a look down this graph at the average days on market (7) & % of close to list price (100%) in March-June listings.

So, if you are even considering making a move in 2024 and putting your house on the market, now is the time to start preparing. If you have a good REALTOR® by your side, agents can usually work with their clients to expedite getting a house to market in as little as two weeks. But let’s be honest, wouldn’t it be nice if we all had some more time to prepare and present your home in the absolute best possible manner?

See this checklist below of ALL the steps necessary to get your house sold:
